Haydays Grass Drags
September 11th – 12th, 2021
North Branch, MN
Welcome to HayDays!
If you’re new to HayDays, you’re in for a real treat! Originally started as strictly a snowmobile grass drags event, it has grown into a magnificent extravaganza. Hundreds of racers from across the country, Canada and even Europe, travel to HayDays for the grand daddy of snowmobile grass drag racing. Besides world record setting grass drag races, HayDays provides a full weekend of entertainment and enjoyment for all ages.
Swap is no longer just about snowmobiles and their respective parts. You can find just about any power motorsport item for sale, including ATVs, UTVs, dirtbikes, go-karts and even riding lawnmowers! One could spend an entire day shopping the swap area and still not see it all. For those who enjoy vintage snowmobiles and the humble start to our sport, be sure to check out the Memory Lane Exhibit located in the swap grounds.
In addition to the huge swap, there are hundreds of dealers specializing in all things motorsports; from performance clutch setups to new snowmobiles to trailers to mountain extreme riding videos, it is all here…and everything in-between! An event of this magnitude wouldn’t be complete without the four major manufacturers: Polaris, Yamaha, Arctic Cat, and Ski Doo. If you’re wondering if a specific dealer/vendor is here, be sure to check the comprehensive listing on the Vendor Page.
The motorsports freestyle Expo-1 is an attraction not to be missed. You will see freestyle riders on snowmobiles, dirt bikes and ATVs. Riders typically include X Games winners as well as other top riders from around the world. 2011 spectators were wowed by the Moore brothers’ tandem snowmobile back flip. In addition to the aerial stunts, members of the Minnesota 4-Wheel Drive Association perform demonstrations with off-road trucks.
Thirsty or hungry? Need a break from the excitement? No problem. We have several beer gardens and dozens of food options located on the grounds. Foods from burgers and brauts to egg rolls and ribs, you’ll find it here. Fresh squeezed lemonade? Yep that’s here too. You’ll be sure to find something that satisfies your taste buds and whet your whistle!
Other enjoyable events that are available include remote controlled car racing and a test track for trying out brand new ATVs or UTVs at the Expo-2 grounds. Near the Baron Parkland Rest area is a sandbox and play area where tots can run off some energy while adults rest and relax.
Our neighbors offer over 100 acres of parking at reasonable cost. Make sure to check the parking page to plan where you’ll park and research the prices. Handicap parking as well as motorcycle parking is available at these lots as well. Please note, handicap persons wishing to use a golf cart, ATV, etc may do so, but arrangements need to be made in advance. Please see the handicap info page for requirements.
Traveling from a distance? There are several camping sites within walking distance of the grounds. Be sure to check out the Map for all pertinent info. There is also a variety of hotels, motels, and bed and breakfast options in the area.
