Legacy Racing Association Releases Their 2024 Schedule
It’s here! The Official release of the 2024 Legacy Racing Schedule but before you scroll any further, ask yourself this: Do I like racing long distance? Am I tired of racing the same courses, lap after lap? Legacy Racing has the answer. The organization added not just one but two brand new events for 2024!
When four of your six events are more than 300 miles you know you are in for some endurance. Legacy Racing has done their homework and put together over 2500 miles of race course for you to experience. No other series in North America is offering that many miles in a single race season. Let’s break down each event with some details.
There is plenty of history behind this race, including the name. As we approached what they wanted to call this event, nothing they came up with seemed to live up to the prestige this event demands, so they dug deep into the history of this event and in 1971, the very 1st event was organized as the Parker Dam 500.
The name was created in conjunction with the Parker Dam Chamber of Commerce so they feel it is only fitting to pay homage to the original event and the original organizers who are still heavily involved with the event to this day. They knew that Parker is a favorite for all categories of racers but for 2024, this event will be for Cars, Trucks and UTVs.
Mark your calendars for February 21-25, 2024, for the Parker Dam 500.
Bringing back this historic event has been on their to do list since the beginning and going into our fourth season, the time has come to make it a reality. They’ve been working with the Nevada Offroad Association and the Bureau of Land Management to resurrect historic courses that haven’t been raced in years.
This event will feature 500 plus miles of all the varieties of terrain that Nevada has to offer. Testing man and machine from the start in Southern Nevada with its low desert floors, to the Sagebrush covered flats of Central Nevada and across the Pinion Pine and snow capped mountains into Northern Nevada, finishing near the State Capital.
This event is for all classes so lock in April 18-21, 2024 on those calendars. Come experience Nevada like never before with the Frontier 500.
The cool part about a multi-day event, it allows teams that have problems on day one to work on their vehicles that night and start again on day two. Off-road racing is about friends and family and spending time together to achieve a goal. Baja Nevada encompasses just that, hanging out after the 1st day, telling stories, laughing about the ups and downs is what makes this event so special. Please join us June 26-30, 2024 for a truly epic off-road experience.
And with the cooler temperatures, it’s the perfect location for our August dates. The tight twisty course has become a racer favorite, and we can’t blame them. Book your calendars now for August 2-3, 2024, for one of the best Motorcycle, Quad and UTV event on the 2024 schedule.
The 2024 event will again feature 350 miles of great race course and spectacular views as you twist your way through the Northwestern part of the Silver State. Come see them October 10-13, 2024. for another event that takes you back in time where the rush for Gold was on in Nevada.
Pahrump is one of the most welcoming towns in Nevada and is home to many off-road enthusiasts so going to Pahrump is like being home. This event was the very first for Legacy Racing and it will always have a home on our schedule.
They have enjoyed our relationship with the Bureau of Land Management Pahrump field office and have secured a multi-year permit for this event which means they enjoy having us as much as everyone enjoys being there. Don’t miss out on December 5-8, 2024, for the final race where all your hard work comes down to the Desert Showdown.
It’s hard to believe they are heading into our fourth race season. Legacy Racing Association wants to thank each and every one of you for your support. They say the road has not been an easy one but being at the start and finish line seeing the excitement, joy and even those that don’t finish comment how much fun it was and that’s what makes this all worth it.
2024 is going to be their best season thus far with great locations, awesome race courses and having some of the best racers in the world compete head-to-head for the Legacy Racing series championship.
