2017 Off-Road Season to Feature Custom High-Performance Brake System
BARCELONA, SPAIN – October 11, 2017
J.Juan – the second largest manufacturer of brake components in Europe – today announced it has signed a sponsorship agreement with champion pro off-road racer, Marc Burnett. The multi-Baja winner will be racing the upcoming Baja 1000 with his Can-AM Maverick X3 Turbo equipped with the finest high-performance competition brakes for UTV and Side-by-Side available in today’s market designed and manufactured in J.Juan Barcelona’s factory.
Now, with three Baja 500 and one Baja 1000 titles on his back, the Official Can-Am rider’s goal is to make his 2017 Can-Am X3 racecar the best ever. The latest technology of the Spanish company will now make Burnett’s brakes last until the end of grueling off-road races, while current brake systems for these kinds of vehicles historically wear and fail before competitions come to an end.
For the 50th Annual 2017 SCORE Baja 1000 – November 14-18 from Ensenada, BC to La Paz, BCS, Mexico (regarded as the most demanding race for UTV and Side-by-Side) – Burnett’s Maverick X3 Turbo will wear the custom Avant-Garde full CNC Billet Caliper that J.Juan designed and made specifically for this car.
While Burnett’s background was originally in years of off-road motorcycle and truck racing, his recent years of championship UTV and Side-by-Side racing and experience with this kind of four wheel vehicles is why today he choses to only team with the best manufacturers.
