Maximum Comfort and Visibility

Anytime we bolt into a UTV, our helmets are strapped on. At first, it might take a little getting used to, for those who previously chose to forgo safety, but once you’ve gotten used to a helmet, it’s actually more comfortable to wear one than to go without.
Visibility in tight technical terrain can be tough to come by in some UTVs, and can be made even tougher by some of the full-face race style helmets. For me, especially in the rocks, wearing a full face helmet that limits your view can make it a little more difficult to look around and spot the good lines. Amped Off-Road also recognized this issue and created a DOT approved open face helmet that is as comfortable as wearing a hat. The lightweight composite shell provides the protection, while the Nylon Liner and air vent system make it very comfortable to wear.
Out of the box, the helmet can be used with nearly any standard behind-the-head headset for communication and music. Often with the open face helmets, comm systems are not thought about in the design process, while the Amped Open Face Helmet can be used with most standard headsets with zero modifications. The lightweight and open design gives you the ability to look around as if you weren’t wearing a helmet at all, while keeping your head safe. Sizing runs a full size or two big and the straps take a little playing with to get right the first time (and trimmed if you so wish), but once it is all adjusted properly, it’s off to the trails!
