Be Prepared For Those Worst Case Scenarios

Anything can happen out on the trails, but are you prepared for it? I’m not just talking about having enough water to stay hydrated, enough fuel to reach the destination, or the all-important tool kit to fix a broken machine… I’m talking about making sure you’ve got a medical supply kit that is ready for more than just the average cuts and scrapes.
Desert Squadron has developed a trauma kit that does just that. When looking at this small bag from the outside, it may not look like there is much room for supplies on the inside. So it was a bit of a surprise when opening this kit for the first time to find that it is packed full with medical supplies, as well as the tools to help apply them. For starters, this little bag has definitely got you covered when it comes to minor injuries such as cutting yourself on a tree branch, or getting a burn while changing a belt. Or there’s that one accident-prone friend that is bound to trip and scrape a knee, or who knows what else. This kit keeps you prepared by including a wide range of band aids, gauze, burn creams, and ointments to help treat those minor wounds.
Dig a little deeper, and you will also find that Desert Squadron has included more advanced medical supplies such as an Emergency Fire Blanket, a Recon Medical Gen 3 Tourniquet, QuickClot Bleeding Control Dressing, and a Padded Aluminum Splint, which are conveniently kept within their designated pockets. These are the types of medical supplies that we hope we won’t ever have to use, but if we need em’, we’ve got em’.
In times when you need quick access to medical supplies, there should be no issues finding this kit. “Grab the orange bag!” It’s fluorescent orange color makes it easy to spot, and the velcro/strap on mounting system on the back allows you to get creative with mounting it in almost any location, while being able to remove it from the vehicle in a quick second. We’ve been carrying this kit around for a while now and haven’t had to use it, and we plan on keeping it that way.
