HMF Racing Titan Series Twin Loop Slip-On Exhaust System

One of the most popular modifications you can make to your UTV (or any vehicle for that matter) is an exhaust system. They are available in all colors, finishes, price points, and greatly varying sound levels… More often than not, bolt on a quality aftermarket exhaust and you’ll be left with an aggressive tone just a few decibels louder than the usually ugly, heavy, and quiet stock system, unless you bolt on the HMF Titan Series Twin Loop system. Obviously you still get the good looks and quality fit and finish that HMF is known for, but that is combined with a reduction in sound levels in the range of 8-10 decibels!
What? A super quiet exhaust? Why would you want that? Not everyone wants to be the loudest guy on the block, and some people have an absolute need for the maximum in silence. For hunters, outdoorsmen, farmers and ranchers that might need to sneak into an area without terrifying animals and scaring them away, the Twin Loop system is a dream come true. Even for me, after easily bolting up this slip-on system to our Polaris General XP 4 1000, I really appreciate what this exhaust system delivers.
Utilizing two Titan-QS mufflers ran in series, this system greatly reduced the sound levels from stock on our General without making it sound like a neutered cat, and it retains the flow capacity of the stock system negating any need for fuel tuning. The sound was a slightly deeper tone than stock, but was quiet enough at speed that the mechanical sounds of the engine and transmission were more audible than the exhaust itself. This created a much better environment to communicate with my passenger while stopped with the engine running, or even at low speeds, but made me wish for many sheets of sound deadening mats to line both front and rear firewalls of the General to see just how quiet we could get this thing.
The lack of a loud exhaust didn’t make the sporty General XP 4 any less-fun to drive, and I felt that it certainly added to the comfort after two full days in the desert and mountains as my camera vehicle. Less noise will leave you feeling less tired after long hours of driving without your eardrums being beaten to death, and the Twin Loop system is the best option for driving in noise-sensitive environments if you have a non-turbo UTV.
