First Impressions of the Dual Full Turbo-Back System and Front/Rear Bumpers

HMF has been known to make quality performance products to increase protection, improve durability, and expand the capabilities of UTVs offroad. Naturally, we fitted our Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo R with a Titan Series Dual Full Turbo-Back exhaust and matching front and rear bumpers to put them to the test. After testing, HMF’s products continued to prove their durability, versatility, and functionality in the field.
Our Dual Full Turbo-Back exhaust came in HMF’s blacked-out finish. While it looks black in the shadows it appears closer to a gunmetal gray in direct sunlight. One might expect a dark-colored exhaust to collect dirt and filth quickly; however, it was surprisingly minimal after multiple drives. Sure, dirt collects on it but seems to only tint things a light bronze.
While the Maverick’s horsepower is more than sufficient for most, the HMF exhaust unlocks an extra 5 to 7 ponies for those who crave more. Not to mention, the setup is lighter and louder than the stock muffler. With an increase of 5-9 decibels, the Maverick is sure to be heard tearing up the dirt. I can say I was pleasantly surprised by the exhaust note. Cold starts have a deeper tone than stock and the exhaust is noticeably louder when pressing hard on the gas, but doesn’t suffer from annoying droning in the mid RPMs.
If an elevated and more stylish look is something you desire from your Maverick, the front, and rear HMF bumpers certainly add to the overall demeanor of the vehicle. While the front bumper doesn’t add much overall size to the car, it makes the vehicle look more robust and fuller-bodied. In back, the rear bumper provides excellent protection for the dual exhausts, especially the Titan Full Turbo-Back example. Trekking out in the gravel can add some wear and tear on your vehicle’s rear so a little extra protection goes a long way. The steel bumpers provide both durable construction as well as premium finish for the overall vehicle.
From my experience with the Maverick, it is a performance machine that tears through the dirt road like a wild animal. It is the type of vehicle that will be pushed to its limits by countless enthusiasts. The HMF bumper and exhaust ensure the Maverick can take anything thrown at it as it tackles the open terrain.
MSRP: Front Bumper – $389.95 Rear Bumper – $349.95, Titan Series Dual Full Turbo-Back Exhaust – $1299.95
