The Teryx Is Aggressive, Bold, And Gives You A Distinct Feeling This Machine Means Business!
We gave everyone an update on the new Teryx4 two issues back; this time we are showcasing its 2-seat brethren, the Teryx. With all new styling, revised suspension settings, and a host of other upgrades, does the Teryx match up to the competition?
The new Teryx is aggressive, bold, and gives you a distinct feeling this machine means business! It’s a proven platform that is backed with the best standard warranty in the business; a full 3 years of the Kawasaki Strong warranty. While the styling is a large part of what makes the Teryx new and updated, it’s the heart of the beast that is familiar and reliable. The 800cc V-twin gives you that distinct Kawasaki growl, while the CVT transmission with Centrifugal clutch makes driving this machine a piece of cake.
For 2016, Kawasaki also updated the suspension settings in an effort to get the most out of the FOX Podium shocks. The spring setup was retuned to provide a more compliant ride and the adjustable internal valving allows the user to tune the ride to their exact liking. This is especially helpful when hauling a large load or multiple passengers. All you have to do is turn the compression clickers, dial-in the ride where you want, and go!
Also new are a host of upgrades to the interior. First off, drivers will notice the tilt steering column and thicker steering wheel right when they enter the vehicle. This allows drivers to tailor the position to what they want on long adventures or driving around the property. Further enhancing the cockpit, Kawasaki developed a sliding seat adjuster that has a tool-less design, perfect for multiple drivers. A new dash layout compliments the seating arrangement with extra accessory switches and a handy storage pocket.
Kawasaki included new 14” aluminum wheels and four LED headlights on the LE and Camo models.
